Jennifer and I decided to get married. With Jennifer's mother's help, we picked the date, August 31, 2002. That'll give us a year to get ready for our big day of our lives. The wedding date is tentative. We want to finish with college. Please check back later to see if the date is offical or not. Few days later, we stopped by a wedding store and we picked the color scheme, Navy Blue and White. We also found the theme from the Precious Moments® wedding invitation catalog. "I Give You My Love Forever True" We also found the cake topper along to that theme. We are having difficulties finding the church we want to get wedded in. Jennifer's number one choice was Post Oak Baptist Church in Kaufman. We agreed that it is too small and remote for our guests. She found two other churches near my house. Meadow View Church of Christ and Cumberland Presbyterian Church. I told her that it's too small and didn't fit with our religion belief. I suggested First Baptist Church (FBC) of Mesquite and of Sunnyvale. She was in awe at the beautiful building of FBC of Mesquite but wasn't impressed of FBC of Sunnyvale. So First Baptist Church of Mesquite is our first choice for now. We don't know anything about pre-wedding and reception parties yet. We already found our escorts. Jennifer's brother, Sean's girlfriend, Beja, will be Jennifer's maid of honor. Amber Lovelady, Jennifer's best friend and Shannon, Steven's sister, will be bridesmaids. Sean, will be my best man. Amber's escort is yet to be determined. Shannon's escort will be Sean Lovelady, Amber's brother. More to come... |
